World Film Championship
Welcome to the World Film Championship based in Atlanta, GA, US. We are an online Quarterly worldwide film festival and screenwriting contest. We have many categories from feature, short, documentary and narrative as well as categories for super hero, music video, podcast, content creator and screenplay.
World Film Championship invites filmmakers from around the world to submit their projects. Indie films take a special place in the world of film.
Our mission is to be a voice for all Indie films and filmmakers and hopes of strengthening the independent film industry by giving you the opportunity to be winners, receive recognition and awards to further your film journey, use in your marketing and by exposing your films to talent agencies, directors, sales agents, producers, distributors, production companies.
World Film Championship will be hosting an annual film festival event showcasing winner entries in Atlanta, GA. October 2024.

Georgia is known for its comfortable seasonal climate and warm southern hospitality. The diversity and variety of locations available can accommodate a wide range of projects.
Alex Javo is a professional Actor and Filmmaker from Atlanta GA and Owner/Director of World Film Championship film festival awards. Alex is a multi award winner Best Actor across many film festivals both here in the US and Europe as well as Writer, Director and Producer. His acting has appeared on TV and a feature film nationwide theatrical release. His multi award winner film is now available on streaming platforms.
Alex has written, acted, directed and produced several short films and multi award winner Best Actor and Best Short film Enzo as well as Best Actor award winner feature film Malcolm.
Alex is a current actor, filmmaker in Atlanta that knows the daily grind, passion, perseverance and drive of putting together an indie film as well as pursuing his acting career. Alex has done it, every part of indie filmmaking from securing investors, funding, distribution, screenwriting, producing, directing, casting, scouting location venues as well as his main passion of acting.

By submitting your film to the World Film Championship, the individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it understands and accepts these requirements, rules and regulations:
* We accept short and feature films that are fiction, non-fiction, experimental, animated, music videos, and web series/TV pilots.
* We do not accept pornography.
* Films completed on or after Jan 1, 2020 are eligible for consideration.
* We accept feature and short screenplays.
* You may have multiple entries and submit to multiple categories.
* Each entry and submission category must have its own submission fee.
* Entry fees are non-refundable.
* All international films must include English subtitles.
* Screenplays must be in English.
* Entrants confirm and warrant required legal authority to submit the entry to the festival and to use all music, images, and content in the entry.
All films and screenplays submitted are reviewed by the World Film Championship team via private screening. If a film is selected to receive an award, the festival will contact the entrant by email.
The World Film Championship is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition on our site for promotional purposes. The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for review, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations. The Competition reserves the right to refuse entries. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless World Film Championship from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered. Entries will not be returned.
